'What’s Left Behind'
Awakening from the hell
beneath thy soul and heart,
where it broke me and let me fall.
It took me and gave me no call.
From the ashes of my soul
burning inside me
I lay in your arms crying
begging to leave behind my pride.
Spear my life, take me away,
Far and never return!
Lost in the sands of time
I leave and take what’s left behind.
