What’s This All About? - Poem by Richard Quinby

We can’t go on like this
Living like two prizefighters
In this ring we call love
Locked in a clinch
Protecting ourselves at all times

Bobbing and weaving
Side slipping blows
A TKO of love
Just two contenders
No one remembers
