What's Wrong Poem by Ibn Ali

What's Wrong

The jagged stitches that hold this heart together are only fitting
Dreams so far gone the light they shed are speckled dots
Doubts creep in like ill intented thieves
Then house broken: they stay to reside
Guilt has no consequence in ambition
Bruised thoughts, battered, leak past a weary tongue
Regret follows
As he always does
Dragged on a lead too thin to hold
Pulled by a man too weak to bear the weight
Yet keeps adding to his burden
There's no resolve in love
Divorce is rampant
Infatuated with pretty faces
Designer people
Friendships buckles under pressure
Ties severed
Blood diluted
Family watered down
That's not unheard of
So many means to keep in touch
And yet unscathed
What's wrong?
