What Shall Your Joy Be Poem by Adebiyi Adekunle Oluwaseun

What Shall Your Joy Be

When many live like kings
While you know that they are lost
And you remain muted to bring
Them to recovery and save them
What shall your joy be

When your closest neighbor is dying
And this knowledge is only revealed to you
But you refuse to save her when
The power of her salvation is with you
What shall your joy be

When only because of your negligence
That boy or girl goes to hell
That while you were with him/her
You smiled and played with her only
What shall your joy be

Oh! When the judgment day comes
And your friend is given the crown
While your head remains uncovered
Only because you failed to share the light
What shall joy be
