What The Gods Taught Poem by Tony Adah

What The Gods Taught

Rating: 3.0

If you behold the sun
In your eyes smiling from the east
Never extinguish the fire
In your hearth,
Nurture it
Stock the kindlings in.
When the sun has gone
And you've caught one bird
In your hand,
Leave the nine in the bush.
