I wonder what God will say
On our own judgement day,
When many will say to him, unto you we did pray
But, we treated your children that way.
When he reads what they have wrote
When he hears what they did quote,
And when it caused persecution or revolt
And from the pain and suffering of others they did gloat.
We all know what Jesus had taught
And to our lives what Jesus had brought,
But, instead what many had sought
Was for people to starve and get kicked out after being caught.
I truly don't care what others have said
Because, Jesus from the Bible I have read,
To always share his word and also our bread
And never wish or want anyone dead.
I don't care if they don't have a job
I'll never say because of that they'll steal or rob,
And never will I be the instigator to an angry mob
For them all my heart does sob.
When I was born, hardworking parents are what I got
And for jobs in my area there was a lot,
Hard work and strength of family to me was taught
But, sadly what I was shown and had, many had not.
No matter from what land or from what shore
Always help and feed the hungry and needy and the poor,
Against them never create hate or a war
Because, from the same cloth we all are tore.
I wonder what the reactions will be
When Jesus tells someone you were nothing like me,
Inside of our soul God already does see
What will be their final plea.
When many are sobbing on their knees
When unto the Lord their actions to the Lord they did not please,
Will they feel safe and a Christian and at ease
When others they had mocked and taunted and did hatefully tease.
