What Will I Do Poem by Jan Jelenc

What Will I Do

Rating: 5.0

What will I do
as a man who seeks without knowing
gaze glancing upon fields ahead
thoughts running from past to future and on..
never tho, do they stay where I am

what will I do?

'Am I doing well? ' I asked,
*a healdback sigh in response

Mind in angst!

feel as I should had known the anwser
feel as I should be there already..

How can I keep myself composed?

focusing on the past or future but never on me nor you
nevertheless as you said, I am here in the present
I am here alone..
and dont know what to do

What will I do?

Truth of life is that there are no cut and dry answers, we must find the truth that satisfies our needs at the time. It is an on-going process through our lives. Past, present and future lie before us, a vast wasteland of questioning, it's up to us to seek the answers through our innate curiosity. Knowing also, that our answers are only temporary, as is our lives. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
