What World Have I Sought In My Poems Deeper Than Me? Poem by Shalom Freedman

What World Have I Sought In My Poems Deeper Than Me?

WHAT WORLD HAVE I SOUGHT IN MY POEMS DEEPER THAN ME?

What world have I sought in my poems deeper than me?
Beauty beyond Belief
Love’s Essence-
More music than my lines tell-

Lovely lonely life
Does not have Beauty enough
To sing the sound I sought-
More long and great
Than me
Divine Infinitely.
