What would have happened?
If I had looked the other way
I would have never gotten the chance
To see you there that day

What if I had decided?
To have gone somewhere else
You wouldn't have gotten the chance
To make this heart of mine melt

What if I had left?
Before you arrived
There would be no love
Between us to survive

What if you had left?
Never to return
Look at all you and I
Never would have learned

We wouldn't know that love
Could be so alive and well
We would both still be existing
In our own little hell

But because none of these things
Happened to us you see
Love is alive and well
Shared by both you and me
