What You Said
I know it means nothing,
To you,
But it still means everything,
To me.
A comment you didn't think about,
Just slipped from through your lips,
I'm still reassured now,
Nearly a year later,
By what you said when I felt,
So alone,
You said the bro code is
'Bros before hoes, ',
So easily you answered when I asked,
'What if a hoe is a bro? ',
So easily you answered, you said,
'You're a bro.'

There are things people have said to me that I still remember, the cruel and the good, the good has lifted me the cruel has drowned me. It seems the words have left there mark on you. A fine poem!
