I know it means nothing,
To you,
But it still means everything,
To me.
...
I used to think you could tell,
When you were being manipulated,
And yet, I didn't notice,
When I was.
...
The whole lesson,
I didn't know what to do,
The girls texted me from across the room,
They calmed my stress down.
...
Jet black feathers,
Beedy white eyes,
Razor sharp beak,
The beautiful raven bird.
...
The mystical blue,
The shadowy gray,
The brilliant night,
The bright white moon.
...
This week,
I rode to the bridge,
And sat under it, singing,
A little bit away, was an old fisherman,
...
I don't know what to do,
I don't know what to say,
It seems I've spent my life,
Living in this way.
...
Dark and light,
Who's to say?
Does dark even exist at all?
Or is it just the name we give,
...
I don't know why you did it,
Why you talked to me that day,
When there was a whole line of people,
To which you could say.
...
I texted you last night,
But you never replied,
And you still haven't,
Not yet.
...
The shouting,
The quiet after,
The silence for days,
The quiet converstaions, about 'normal things'
...
I always come in carefully,
Watchful of everyone's moods,
I start of either by myself,
Or talking with someone who isn't you.
...
I've always wanted to learn,
Archery, or knife throwing,
Not because they're badass,
But because they give me control.
...
I've boarded the bus,
And I'm looking out the window,
My bags are in the trailer,
Behind me.
...
I woke up early today,
Very rare,
Had to finish packing my bags,
Last day of camp today.
...
Look at everything you see,
Things are rarely as they seem,
Question the thought around it,
Don't follow rules blindly.
...
My mind feels empty,
My heart feels blank,
I don't know what I'm thinking,
I don't know where I'm at.
...
I'm that kind of girl,
The one with a hard life,
She doesn't let anyone see,
I'm that kind of girl,
...
I'm told I'm too small,
Too small to be loved,
She's told she's too big,
No one will want her like that.
...
G'day all. I'm from the sunny coast of Brisbane, Australia and I'm in grade 8 this year. Some people say I'm an old soul, but I'm not so sure. I read a LOT, my favourite book being the Caraval series by Stephanie Garber. I love acting and music, I play trumpet, piano, guitar, taught myself ukelele, I've started learning violin, did percussion for a year because I was told I was too short to play any other instrument, and I sing. I love acting. I started writing a book for my best friend and now she won't let me stop, and now she's planned out a whole trilogy for me to write, so look out for that in the next 10 years. There's not really too much about me to say. I'm just an average kid, making my way through high school, going through friendships, exams, and relationship struggles. Oh, and I'm bisexual and asexual and have been bullied for it. that's partially where some of my poems come from. But yeah, that's about it really.)
What You Said
I know it means nothing,
To you,
But it still means everything,
To me.
A comment you didn't think about,
Just slipped from through your lips,
I'm still reassured now,
Nearly a year later,
By what you said when I felt,
So alone,
You said the bro code is
'Bros before hoes, ',
So easily you answered when I asked,
'What if a hoe is a bro? ',
So easily you answered, you said,
'You're a bro.'

If anyone says you can't do something, do it twice and take pictures.
Are they brilliant or insane? Why, darling, can't you be both?
