What You'Ve Been To Me Poem by Mark Anthony Mendoza

What You'Ve Been To Me

Goodbyes have float between the two of us
The getting back together seems to be far
Tears have been scattered all around the road
But then we know we got to move on

After the battles and hardship
Everybody says we lost the fight, we lost the love
Do we lost the fight? Do we lost the love?

Not because we didn't end up together, we lost.
Not because we went separate ways, we lost love
We never lost the fight, we never lost love

Instead we won the fight because we have shared LOVE
We never lost love, for memories will always be there
Though we end up to our different roads
The learning we had about love is our victory

Though now i'm with someone new
The care and wishing you luck will always remain
The friendship we built along our way will remain
The memories of good and bad will never be forgotten

So I lit this candle out for you for protection
To wish you every happiness and love in this world
For your family and dear ones I also pray

and before our roads became so far...
Remember that i'll always be wishing for your happiness

And if you'll ask me who you have been to me....
you've been the one greatest LOVE and MAGIC i've ever had.
