...Whatever It Takes Poem by Obiaeli Ifediirichukwu Victor

...Whatever It Takes

If this heart would break eventually
Let it break
But for the days I will love you
I want it to be true
Without holding back a bit
Since I am loving this one time
I would love it pure and not complicated
So if this foolish heart would be broken eventually
Well...
Let it break
Definitely, it will be shattered in tiny little pieces
But over the years
With time...
When it finds its way to mend itself back together
It'll only learn to focus on pumping blood
And the next time it decides not to dogde the Cupid arrow again
It should be ready for the whole cycle if it comes
But...well, I'd be happy for you dear heart if your breaking does never come
You'd be happy for me too
You had to beat for the right one
Whatever it takes...
Whatever
