Whats 15? - Poem by Christopher Taber
What’s 15 minutes? ? ?
So what if I’m 15 late?
You going to cancel our date?
I’m sorry that I made you wait
But traffic just moved at such a slow gait
Oh come on shut up were going to be late.
It was intentional you know,
They knew I was in a hurry so they all went so slow.
Crawling along at a snails pace,
Except for a weird one who wanted to race.
A few knew where I was going and tried to stop me
They swerved back and forth and once almost got me.
But I drove hard and I’m here
But now you’re just looking at me queer.
I’m sorry that I’m 15 late.
