Whay Can'T We Listen? Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

Life is hard when we fight the Lord,
Why can't we hear? Why can't we listen?
Our lives would be more satisfying and full of His,
Love and Grace…. Yes, from He who Cares.
For is He not the One? The creator of All?
The Alpha, the Omega? The beginning, the end?
The Father and Commander, Of all that is done?
Oh why….! Can we not listen?
Are we so prideful? So Arrogant?
Oh, YES! ! ! It's true! ! !
Thank the Lord on your knees, That He understands our nature.
He created us, knows us, THOUGHT us, into being.
Listen to the Lord, in all of your ways, For His Word is Law….
And you are not forsaken.
