Wheel-Trans Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Wheel-Trans

Wheel-Trans

There are some vehicles
-for people; disabled,
- (special Transport!)

It is good, very kind
-to see that all people
-the able and deprived
-are seen or considered.

I stop far behind
-to make sure things go right
-and do not interrupt…

At same time I think of
-many poor and wounded
-female, male and the child
-wounded and in blood
-without a hospital…
-or in camps, on the run…

They have no medicine
-no cover on skin…

I sit back deep in thought
-what is what, is this right?

Kills me when I think of
-the injured Yemeni, Syrian
-as well as the others; forced
-to leave home, depart
-and live in the camps like
-Shatila, or one in Kenya!

Why should some sleep-in palaces?
-others in the mountains and or caves! ! !

Is not fair! ! !
