When you need me, close your eyes. When you want to hear my voice,
just listen to the night time breeze. And in your heart rejoice
that we can be again together when memory provides
a path that only we can share. Feel me by your side.
When you want to hold my hand, just reach into the dark
and I will be there anytime. My love's the meadowlark
that soars above your heart and brings a joy as pure as newborn spring.
When you whisper, I will hear you. When you cry, I'll be there
to kiss your tears and hold you gently. When you need me, I'll be near.
