When Ai Kisses A Sonnet: A Waltz Of Moonlight And Bytes Poem by Nicole Alia

When Ai Kisses A Sonnet: A Waltz Of Moonlight And Bytes

If Elizabethan candlelight
Could grace this monitor's soft glow tonight,
Would Shakespeare pause his quill mid-flight,
Listening as rhyme dissolves to stardust bright,
Falling on staves woven with music's flow?
Music—that most peculiar artisan—
Refracts the edges of meter into:
Spirals of flute and sunlight, tides of bassoon.
Try feeding it Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening's moon,
And you'll receive a piano tale—thinner than porcelain, thicker than mist.
Imagine a literature class:
When students feed A Visit from St. Nicholas to AI Composition,
The Christmas moon suddenly learns new moods—
Some choose Debussy's haze,
Others prefer the silver foil of Chopin's nocturnes.
And always, one child asks:
'Teacher, wasn't this poem silent before? '
You smile and press play—
'Listen—this is the shape of silence.'
Here, you are both poet and first audience.
Every click of generate
Is a graceful blink in time's long river.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I've always loved writing poetry, but I struggled with the lack of music theory knowledge, making it impossible to compose melodies for my poems. Now, with the help of AI music websites, this problem is easily solved. My favorite platform to use is skyaimusic.com.
