I never knew that angels cry
I never saw your tears
I thought that we were doing fine
But I guess it was only me

You never gave me cause to doubt
But then I never asked
I never felt your pain inside
I thought our love would last

But now I know that angels cry
And that heavens just the same
I guess theres a lot of broken hearts
Its their tears that makes the rain

No pain no anger just a saddened heart
That watches tear drops fall
How I wish you could share my dreams
In my heaven all alone
