When Do I Think Of You Poem by courtney tak

When Do I Think Of You

When do I wind up thinking of you?
In the early morning, deep at night
When I can see you
When your out of sight

I think of you in the morning at three
In the solitude and silence lying there in bed
My thoughts are filled with you and me
I ponder everything to me you said

I think of you around midnight
I consider telling you how I feel
I reflect until the very first light
Because you are a fair deal

I think about you as I’m pacing on the ocean shore
Because you can be the roaring waters
And yet other times you are calm on the surface yet bubbling beneath
Brimming on fragile borders

I think of you in my room all alone
I ponder in a crowd, too
I wonder why I love you
