When For Everything That We Have Done By Rasul Gamzatov

When for everything that we have done,
For a grief that we caused to a loving,
Each by the ordinary court o`er judged
It may be we was avoided a jail.

But own codex is in everyone chest,
And an indulgence I am not dare to wait.
And you, my love, judge me
According to your own laws and concepts.

Judge me by the codex of love
Recognise me guilty in all acts,
To prove my guilt, call
A past sunrises and sunsets.

All are we were happy once
And that still lives in our blood.
