When I Fall In Love With You Poem by Jananie Balaji

When I Fall In Love With You

The frivolous feelings I wish to share
So many silly stunts I want to pull
Moments of Fika when I can let my hair down
When life seems to satiate and yet I'm never full

A myriad of places I want to explore
With eclectic platters for the foodie in me
In the forelsket of newfound love
An idyllic sunset I long to see

So many secrets I wish to spill
Such juicy gossip even my diaries can't hold
Whispering in your ears, the soft pleasure of how
Your one tiny hug is the pieskos to my cold

Will you always be my apricity
Keep my winters snug and warm
When you hold me close n caress my cheeks
Darling, will you ring my love alarm

Ardent desires and a million dreams
When I don't even know who you are
My dear Prince Charming, as I pray here waiting
Will you come to make me smile, like a shooting star?

In crystal pellucid waters, together we'll swim
Basking on turquoise Balian shores, we'll lovingly cafune
Beside our twee hammock, in the tranquil night airglow
Can we both merrily balter, to some charming dulcet tune

Honey, I pen just what I see, that I feel or long to be
Chronicling nearly anything in a ballad, limerick or haiku
Yet not a single poem on love, have I ever been able to scrawl
But darling I know that words will sparse when I fall in love with you
