When, I Gawked Into Your Eyes My Aphrodite - Poem by Mark Heathcote

Your hearts a rainbow of seven fires
Rising and glowing …
My souls a floating arrow of desire
Finding its mark in a doe eyed girl, dreaming.

… Sedimentary shooting stars are now cascading.
New worlds are whirling, working it out in the dark …
Soon our two worlds will be colliding again …
Just like they did when, I gawked into your eyes.

And saw that lonely moon lit fire on the horizon …
That made my heart for the first time-
Feel instantaneously, Kamikaze on you …
Oh, on you, your hearts rainbow-fire—out reaching-out to mine.
Burning kisses on my skin, like I’d already been chard to the bone.

Oh, my souls a floating arrow of desire—again
Oh, your hearts a rainbow of seven fires
Oh, my souls an arrow of desire
Finding its mark in my doe eyed girl, dreaming of me
Within her heart a rainbow on fire.

The theme could be develop a bit better, but the try has inspiration all over it. You did not do so bad. The task to do well with these kinds of subjects in poetry is huge due to the amount of poetry written on these matters. To say something new is quite difficult, but you gave it a try, and I admire the effort put.

keep on writing and trying to better your poetry.
