WHEN I LOOK BACK

When I look back I stand amazed
At the maze that I was in
Floundering upon the sea of life
And burdened down with sin
The Resurrection and the Life
From death has set me free
Now I'm singing praises
For Jesus rescued me

O sin tossed soul don't hesitate
To cry out in your need
The son of God stands ready to be
Your true helper indeed
One look to Him will satisfy
Your burden will be free
The Resurrection and the Life
The Man of Calvary

The hope that lies within my breast
It never fades away
Hope that lives Eternal
Is Jesus Christ my Stay
That staying power He given me
Delivering me from strife
My steadfast Friend He remains
The Resurrection and the Life
