When It's All Said And Done Poem by Matt Starking

When It's All Said And Done

When it's all said and done,
I know where I will be,
Wrapped in divine love and light,
In eternity, I'll be free.

For every battle fought,
And every tear that fell,
I'll be rewarded with a gift,
More precious than any wealth.

When it's all said and done,
My faith will be my shield,
And in the arms of my Lord,
I'll find my perfect yield.

I'll look back on my journey,
With joy, not regret or strife,
For my reward will be eternal life,
The ultimate prize, the gift of life.

So, let the trials and struggles come,
For every step I take,
Brings me closer to my goal,
To walk in heaven's gates.

When it's all said and done,
I'll rejoice with arms held high,
For my reward will be eternal life,
And never-ending love and joy.
