I started a garden when I was age five
In my courtyard planted seeds in a hole
And covered it up to sleep went I before
That night I prayed for rain to percolate
And before tomorrow my crop germinate
When goes contrary against as speculate
You till you plant you wait mama told me
Everything under the sun goes the same
For seasons we love and another we hate
Nurtured to blossom flowers like is love
Fluffs butterfly in a minute she I'll be gone
In wind our memories rise upon the levee
Fades like the evening gangling silhouette
To bask in the sunshine love is all need we
