Diamond And Roses Poem by Onuora ilodibe

Diamond And Roses

Rating: 3.5

Fortune seekers found
Trouble hither abound
Buried in thinkers mine
Treasures a million pile

Traveled alone path
Disgruntled sociopath
Laden with heavy heart
Treading a buggy cart

Red Roses on river banks
Diamond in dessert wolds
Splendor beholds a sight
Sparkles in darkest night

Ostentatious in golden verse
Precious but readily sparse
Penchant for gemstones
Drifted the deadest zones

Really mustn't know
Beauty rarely show
All that glitters not gold
To conquer must be bold.

A wild ride through the mind of voluble volatile conformist. Nice piece brother.
