When Silence Prevails Poem by Shavon Harrington

When Silence Prevails

When stillness prevails, rising angels sing, shining stars
clinging,

When stillness prevails,
energy shifting, birds chirping, loud
winds roaring,

When stillness prevails, heaven rings, silence croon, and the sun
gleams strong,

When stillness prevails, my
voice leaps;

Three silent bird peeps,

God speaks:

At the end of my journey
on earth.

Heaven brings forth new meaning:

When silence prevails, I'm cheering close by,

every time you hear your heartbeat
beating low, beating high, think of me.

When stillness prevails, I'm rising, drifting peacefully;
