When you hate, steal, spread rumors and tell lies
The Devil then arrives,
He will then be there standing at your side
As the groom stands with his bride.
When you cheat or con or become greedy
You will not be compassionate or show any pity,
Your life the devil will then take full control
He will then be your soul.
When greed and lust and sin you praise
Then the Devil stays,
He will be there tickling your soul and whispering in your ear
Evil, temptation, gossip and rumors is what you'll believe and hear.
He will be there the rest of your life
Laughing and praising all your sorrows and worries and strife,
But, when forgiveness and salvation you receive
Then the Devil does leave.
