When The Mass Of Citizens Forget Their Freedoms? Poem by Terence George Craddock

When The Mass Of Citizens Forget Their Freedoms?

sad when the mass of citizens
do not care about their freedom
sad when the majority stick heads
in the sand imitate easily preyed

upon ostriches...

sad when governments
road show dictatorship agendas
sad when citizens no longer
love or protect historical freedoms

such citizens
are even surprised
when they wake

up to find themselves
arrested imprisoned held
in segregated cages
