When The Sun Rises Poem by TD. Kumar

When The Sun Rises

When the sun rises..............

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When the sun rises

Orange-red patches of clouds and luminous ripples in the lake
Pay homage, colorful and dancing for sun's sake
Night's dew spreads diamond dust over my grassy lawn
On the sleepy walls and corners thousand checkered patterns, sun will make.

Hot news makes the tea cup warmer
Served smilingly by my wife who is a charmer!
Working like a loving robot to ready the children and separate boxes of Tiffin
I hurry for a quick bath, shave and breakfast, nibbling in the car an apple which is tougher.

I always forget one of the four, key, hanky, purse or a kiss to my wife
Multi-colored and fast indeed is metro's life
Morning and afternoon have a mood of quite and organized energy
In every day routine there is variation of strife.
