When Things Go Wrong Poem by Pooja Chaurasia

When Things Go Wrong

Rating: 5.0

When life takes a down turn, when things go wrong,
Nights stay stern, and days seem long
Today I feel dejected, I feel low
I wonder Is this a lesson, or just another blow?

I see a path all empty, leading nowhere,
I see no light and only despair.
One question that keeps hounding is ‘Why me'?
When will I get out of it, when will I be free?

The road seems uphill and rough seems the way,
Should I give up or shall I stay?
Showed an introspection and an internal peep,
I have responsibilities and promises to keep.

Whatever be the situation, whatever be the flow,
I decide not to give up, and fight back every single blow.
Deep in my heart, in an optimistic furrow,
I know I will survive, I believe I will sail through.

Because when life takes a downturn, when things go wrong,
They are not just difficulties but my opportunities to be strong.
