When (Timelines Version) Poem by Vedanth Bhatnagar

When (Timelines Version)

Rating: 2.5

Altering timelines
Shifting memories
The choice once made
Reality's reverie

The me of here
Is not the me of there
When was that me here,
To be found even there?

Events that flow
That in reality split
And wordlines grow
From a point being slit
By choices
By existence
By living
And the ones who once
Lived

Blurred memories
Déjà Vu
Was I here before?
Is this memory true?

The choice of now
A Schrödinger's box
Actions of tomorrow
A temporal paradox

Current:
Remembering what will be
Seeking what was
Occurences that exist
Without a cause

Alternus:
What was lost
Is found
In the solace
Of the sound
Of Reality

The timelines flow
And an infinity exists
Of you and me
And those we see
Around us

Current:
Sightless we seek
That precious peace
Which is guided
By the holy butterflies
Of chaos

Alternus:
In time we live
In time we depart
Beyond time we see not
Beyond existence is the thought
Of existence's sacred
Heart
