When We Thought Love Was Lost Poem by Carly Almonde

When We Thought Love Was Lost

We once thought our love was lost.
We once believed that we should never see eachother again
The two of us believed that we could not make eachother happy.
But what I never told you was,
I'm lost without you.
Every night I wish I could hold you in my arms.
I dream that just maybe,
You might love me still.
We were perfect!
Don't you see?
In every aspect,
We were wild and free.
Don't give up on us.
I've said I'm sorry.
Take me back.
There is the possiblity of you cheating again,
But please,
I don't care anymore.
That's what I wished I could tell you,
When I left all of those messeges on your cell.
Your my other half,
I'm not complete without you.
When we thought love was lost,
We came together,
and everything was great.
And then we lost it,
Where is it now?
Do you not feel that ever slight tugging at your heart,
Asking you why you gave up?
Our love has been lost,
But it is still there.
Will you not come back to it,
Back to me?
