When Why Writing Poetry Poem by Terence George Craddock

When Why Writing Poetry

what rules when why writing poetry?
when will you write what will you write?
how will you write for who will you write?
all styles please some but not all
we may write for a few or many
but differing styles themes please
differing diverse taste tone personalities
yet only we may write ourselves if we dare

it does not matter if what we write is good or bad
as long as we write Terence works on a belief
that if one poem in ten is good then that is enough
at the end of days someone can delete nine of the ten
that which remains should
be the cream so do we keep a few or all?
even the greatest musicians eventually come out
with greatest hit albums which fans predominantly decide
