When you asked me,
Do You ever miss my Dad,
My answer was no,
Why miss something that made me so sad,
Why should I miss,
Someone who wasted my best years,
Someone who caused my torrential tears,
Why would I miss someone,
Who did me so wrong,
Who thought it was ok,
To call me a c**t and a mong,
Why would I miss someone
Who snubbed out my flame,
Who put me down,
Again and again,
A list as long as my arm,
Of his nasty cruel ways,
Tortured my mind,
And the scars still remain,
See you don't have to lift a finger,
To break someone's heart,
He was conjuring up a plan,
Right from the start,
To wear me down,
To a shadow of my former self,
Knocked my stuffing out,
And caused my ill health,
I thought I was mad,
Thought I was going insane,
And that's why I let it,
Happen again and again,
I took the hurtful words,
And his bullying ways,
I let him take the real Emma Rae,
He walked away,
And left me with nothing,
Disappeared for months,
And just left me suffering,
6long months went by,
And not a single word was said,
He knew every night I'd break down,
Crying in our bed,
Silent screams that you never heard,
To slag of your dad,
Would have been so absurd,
Even though you know,
What a bastard he is,
He was mine and I was his,
Then I found out that his mind was sound,
And too my heartache,
a new girlfriend had been found,
24 years young and pretty,
Whilst they were on holiday,
I'd wasted my pity,
See there's a lot I could tell you,
But I don't want your bubble to burst,
He's like the devil,
But infinitively worse,
So when you ask me,
Do I miss him,
The answer will always be no,
Because what's the point In missing,
Someone that makes you feel hollow?
I rose from the ashes,
And I've come back stronger,
I may not be 100% yet,
But it won't be much longer,
You said that sometimes,
He tells you he misses me,
Well honestly good,
He deserves some misery,
But whatever he feels,
I felt it worse,
Because of that total d*ckhead,
Made me feel it all first,
So good luck to him,
And his tormented soul,
But the answer to your question,
Do you ever miss my dad?
The answer will always be no!
