When You'll Leave Poem by Alexandria Angel

When You'll Leave

I see you put back on the combat uniform again,
I know that side of you would never completely mend.
I've seen the expression on your face,
the feelings and shock I wish I could erase.
I'll pray for you,
just so you can make it through.
I don't want you to die,
so I'm telling you now ' Never say goodbye.'
Goodbye means forever,
So say that you'll come back all together.
The battle field still haunts you, even though I'm with you.
I see you're still fighting the combat that will never fade,
when you're hurt out there
I wish I could come to your aid.
I hope you'll remember this,
you're not alone.
I'm waiting for you to come back home.
Even though you've been doing this
all this time as long as you'll try,
But still when you'll leave...
I'll still cry...
