When You Smile - Poem by THEODOROS MANTAS

In any mind rises a steep hill
filled with the burden of life
and any kind of thoughts.
But it has a sufficient ground about it
for a small garden where flourish stars,
butterflies, and full moons.
And as long as you walk through
this modest paradise
with a light and free step
and you stare at the bright night
you cast into fire any burden
and thought and you... smile
