When You Trust Poem by Gary James Smith

When You Trust

Rating: 5.0

When You Trust

When you trust the blood of Christ
Being sufficient for your sin
Then you enter the realm of faith
Well pleasing unto God my friend
And ignite a flame of fire
Fed by the Spirit of God
To now live for His glory
With an understanding of His Word

When faith has found it's resting place
Established on the solid Rock
Corruptible words lose their flavor
Now with circumspect we talk
Equipped and designed to do God's will
His Spirit leading us so
Praying in faith while following Jesus
In our journey here below

Then our trust leads to obedience
"What Lord is Your desire? "
Help me learn to keep your precepts
And lift the name of Jesus higher
O what love of Jesus Christ
Who can cleanse each heart from sin
Never a Friend so faithful as He
Learn to put your trust in Him!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
