All I want is to see you
in the azure sea of our future
to caress you and your hair
in the golden sunset of tomorrow
I am lost in this world
you are not here...where can you be?
who tends your wounds
and wraps you in arms that are not mine
You are as sweet as blossoms in the spring
sweet as the aroma at the country faire
and as fresh as sheets hung to dry
can I not be in your life? Is it too late?
The smell of you still fills my senses
with yesterdays nearness
the sound of the waves are close and so are you
your beloved sea sings of your beauty
At low tide, I search the exposed sand
for your foot prints and the path thet took you
as the tide rises, all I find is hermit crabs, starfish
and clumps of kelp...you have not been there
that I can tell...where are you?
