Where Are You Dear Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Where Are You Dear

Where are you dear

Teacher, teacher
Where do we find her?
In books or grammar
In school or in nature

No answer
But go there
She listens to her cuckoo
She is asking names of those who?

Poor soul
Responds to love's call
Her love is too far and in distant land
Just exchange of words as friend

I heard her saying few words
Where does life end?
She asks beautiful bird
Take my message and be beautifully heard

It is beautiful winter
Spring is on ladder
All over seen are the beautiful flowers
Roses, lilies and yellow sunflowers

I beg to take note
But got really caught
She lowers head in sadness
But lifts again with all possible cheers
