Where Do I Start? - Poem by Marcus McKinley

Do simple words
Really affect one another?

Do I have to start with one end
To get to the other?

If I start with the other
Will it create, a distortion?

Of universal proportion!

Or cause an addiction
Through mental affliction?

Coloring thoughts
With vivid descriptions
Eliciting lusts
And erotic depictions
Tip of tongue,
Just a taste
Gentle hands,
on your waist

Does that get your attention?

Did I not mention
Soft satin sheets
For bedding your passion
Wearing you naked
Is always in fashion
This is more
Than a physical attraction
Cosmic in origin
A spiritual reaction
Within your circle
An infinite connection
An adventure of pleasure
In every direction
