Where Have All The Poets Gone? - Poem by Michael Pruchnicki
That's what he said, all right!
He stood up at the meeting of sages,
dusted off his cap, rolled up his sleeves,
and pitched one right over the plate!
Not a peep, not a twitter was heard
from the pompous clowns sitting
on their folding chairs, basking
in the fading limelight!
