My excitement knew no bound when I held you in my arms
Our eyes clinging on to each other's and the silence spoke our hearts.
But, that is now history
Seems to me like a mystery
Where have we lost the charm?
The enigmatic question lingers in my head every dawn and dusk
I start to drown in the sea of confusion and wish for Noah's Ark
Even the intoxication doesn't seem to help me
To get me out of this misery
And, the answer still lies in the dark
Where have we lost the charm?
Where have we lost the charm? ?
The charm was electrochemical. An evolutionary signal to reproduce. Only when that disapates can the real charm commence

Love is a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly. It's a voyage of bliss and natural mutual affinity couples have for each other. It could however be whimsical and temperamental, appearing unannounced and may leave without warning, if it's not carefully nurtured at all times by both couples to maintain its bliss. Beautiful love poem, well articulated and subtly penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Abhijit.
