Where Is Destiny When Dreams Are Impossible Poem by sam gale

Where Is Destiny When Dreams Are Impossible

My dreams are higher than Everest where the sun does all but shine, where the birds cannot even think to chime, where man will never climb. My dreams are deeper than all known space, filled with a burning uncertainty, going on to be an endless disgrace. The dreams in which I cannot misplace, the dreams in which I cannot replace nor will I ever erase, distresses my fragile mind as it hollows my now empty soul, leading me astray until I finally lose my way. The dreams in which I cannot erase have started to swallow me whole, so this is farewell to the innocence my despair has stole.

Believe me when I say that dreams are a source of pain, endless roads of shame that lead to continuous lies and blame, some learn to gain where others are left soaked from the rain.

Destiny where does one stand when your embrace is nowhere to be found? Your entire existence had vanished without an echoing sound when truly all I need was you around. I've discovered a descending emptiness deep within that cannot be filled like a wound that refuses to be healed, dreams are infections that cannot be killed, that are strong enough to penetrate any form of shield.

Believe me when I say that dreams are a source of pain, endless roads of shame that lead to countless lies and blame, some learn to gain where others are left soaked from the rain.
