Where Is The Enemy? Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

Where Is The Enemy?

To hell with it, enough I say
It's time to rise and be ready
With the sword to sweep and slay
The dark forces of my enemy!
Madly I go out for the drive
Beware foes you've no retreat
I'll hunt you out wherever you thrive
And will not come back before I do it!
All around I find an echoing hollow
Pitying laughter in mocking glee
I move and my own shadows follow
Despairingly crying where is the enemy!
Where is the enemy, taunts my vengeance
Where is the enemy that my wrath seeks
Where is the enemy asks my impatience,
My enemy inside me reigns in bliss!
