Where Jealousy Fades Poem by April Humason

Where Jealousy Fades

In this fire my spirit wakes,
Yet jealousy still hides my praise.
Flesh fights strong — my spirit shakes,
Chasing peace through restless days.

My heart is torn — divided ground,
Where truth and weakness are entwined.
I search for love but peace isn't found,
Till I remember You are mine.

I run from stillness, crave the loud,
Trying to fill what only You can soothe.
But every shadow makes me bow,
Until Your mercy pulls me through.

Time moves fast — my soul feels worn,
Tugged by the things that fade away.
Yet Your Spirit gently warns,
There's a better, holier way.

Jealous thoughts begin to fall,
As Your light restores my sight.
You teach my heart the truest call —
Love is clean and truth is light.
