Where stands the poor!

There are millions very poor
Begging door to door
But no one thinks about their fate
Are we not still late?

After seventy years, we still claim
Many tribal people who keep calm
Watch the development and remain helpless
There is no shine on their face

We have kept them in their primitive stage
As of today, they are still in the same age
We do nothing for their upliftment
On the contrary, their development fund is eaten up

Those who have developed don't want to part
Their same theory to keep them intact
Let other brethren not come up
Exploit them and keep doors shut

But poor remains poor
Not today but forever
We can't make onions and potato to their reach
We have big plans but no scheme for them as such
