Where Tears And Darkness Meet Poem by Josephine Adrian

Where Tears And Darkness Meet

A single tear dribbles down my face,
It's the middle of the night.
This happens often.
But it's out of sight.

Out of sight,
Out of mind.
Another nightmare,
Sleep I try to find.

Two tears,
A perfect pair,
More people in the house,
But they're unaware.

That I have dreams,
And they scare me a lot.
Memories of the sad times.
I wish I had fought.

Fought to be happy,
Fought to be glad,
Fought for the memories,
I could've had.

But instead I was silent.
I was horrified;
Too shocked to do anything,
I could've cried.

Cried for help,
Cried for my dad,
Cried to be heard,
I wanted to so bad.

Tonight tears and darkness met,
In the corner of my eye.
Forget these moments?
I will try.

The feeling of sadness is felt in this write. I hope by expressing our feels will allow to deal with any issues that you are going through. Nicely written. May you find the peace and joy that you seek in your heart each and everyday. Scott
