Where The Lights Don't Mean Anything Poem by Ragy Sandid

Where The Lights Don't Mean Anything

There, blessings exist
Without a wishing well or a wish list
Where the lights don't mean anything
Free to roam up and down in a twist

If lost sight, hearing hikes
And all other senses are the mightiest might
Where the lights don't mean anything
Stronger senses replace the light

In minutes, the world and what's in it
Stops because the heart's not ready to spin it
Where the lights don't mean anything
As the lights are robbed from the minutes

A moment makes moments to come happen
Love in someone's eyes, in others' eyes a sin
Where the lights don't mean anything
Then it's time for a new heartbeat to sound in

After a long success trail, not allowed to fail
Only to find all is to no avail
Where the lights don't mean anything
And only those who cared will last the tale

Somewhere in the dark, there's a prayer
For every wish, there's a dark slayer
Where the lights don't mean anything
And the lights are unpeeled layers

Then the final curtain comes down
There is silence where there was sound
Where the lights don't mean anything
Light it up when the next one comes round
